Wilco Fiers is a programmer, web developer and a certified web accessibility researcher at the Accessibility Foundation who, over the past few years has delved into the code of many of the best Dutch websites out there. Witnessing up close how web development has evolved into an industry with many different aspects. Though web accessibility has been his main field of interest for the past few years, seeing the best works of many leading developers has inspired him to not just read code, but to also write some, time permitting.
His private time is mostly spend doing nerd stuff such as programming, role playing games and watching sci-fi. But they also include more manly activities such as camping in the freezing cold and running around in a forest. The idea for this blog grew out of lessons learned while working on a game for the Mozilla Game On challenge. The first series of articles are focused on this subject.
Oh and Mozilla guys, if you’re reading this, I’m still waiting to hear why our game got rejected!
